In our current culture, when we speak of those who don’t believe in Jesus, we use terms like “seekers” and “unchurched.” But the Bible most often refers to these people as “lost.” Maybe by not using Biblical terms we have subconsciously both weakened our passion for Jesus’ mission to seek and save the lost and lessened the lost’s ability to recognize they are truly lost.
