A. Jesse Jiryu Davis is a staff engineer at MongoDB in New York City. He's the lead developer of the MongoDB C Driver libraries, libbson and libmongoc, and the author of Motor, an async MongoDB driver written in Python for Tornado and asyncio. With Guido van Rossum he co-authored "A Web Crawler With asyncio Coroutines", a chapter in the "500 Lines or Less" book in the Architecture of Open Source Applications series. Jesse lives in the East Village with his partner Jennifer Armstrong and their dwarf hamsters, Grace and Ada.
