Rebel Radio LIVE in China. This is the first of four interviews with recorded on the road in Beijing. We had the opportunity to catch-up with some of the people building the global cultural footprint of that amazing city. Miao Wong has been labeled Beijing’s queen of techno. As founder of Acupuncture Records, DOT Records, the Art Rebels Party, and the person responsible for bringing Boiler Room to China, she’s earned that title. She gives us some insight into what the underground scene is like in Beijing and some of the unique challenges of building that culture in her city. She also tells us why balance isn’t just a buzzword for her but a matter of life and death. Check it.
