Drum-Wiz Brann Dailor has been ripping, grooving, filling and generally shredding the last 20 years with Mastodon, formerly Today is the Day and more recently with his new synth project Arcadea. As a rare drummer who possess the natural ability to blend proggy fills with metal grooves and agile hand patters I knew it'd be a great convo'! We get into Chris Farley, David Letterman, sitting in with the Seth Meyer’s house band, Grammy nominations and awards, the bizarre twist of fate that led to forming Mastodon, fat cats, playing crazy shows in New Orleans, his inherited first drum set, Phil Collins and some of his favorite drummers, what he misses about the early days of touring, plus exploring vocal ideas and the endless pursuit of the killer riff or vocal melody, and the collective excitement that keeps Mastodon going!!!http://www.mastodonrocks.com/https://arcadea.bandcamp.com/Photo Cred: http://svartheim.org/fb.com/svartheimpx instagram.com/svartheimCBBP Sponsor: http://www.neworleansrecordpress.com/
