Series 1 Episode 14
Welcome to series 1 episode 14 of the Your App Lady Podcast!
All about apps and tech that I love and use every day.
On each episode, I’ll talk about recent tech news, recommend apps that I use myself and leave you with a great tech tip.
Tech News
Wireless headphones are so frustrating. At least to me...
I have asked a million tech people to design something like Bluetooth that actually works! Well! And. All. The. Time!
My prayers have possibly been answered. Qualcomm’s updated TrueWireless Stereo includes some small but crucial updates to how headphones handle Bluetooth audio. These updates are supposed to increase the reliability of the Bluetooth connection, simplify pairing and increase battery life. The new features are available on Qualcomm’s latest QCC5100 series chips. Device manufacturers will have to build headphones that use the chip and take advantage of these features. Qualcomm says to expect devices with the updated TrueWireless Stereo tech in the second half of 2018.

App of the Week: Trello
Trello is available for iPhones, iPads, Android phones, tablets and web browsers.
Trello is a productivity app that helps you organize all your projects. The tool is set up with boards, lists and cards that help you organize and prioritize. I think of it as hundreds of post-it notes that I have organized into columns that help me figure out what needs to be done next. The cards (like post-it notes) can be moved from column to column as you work through the project. Cards can contain due dates, tasks, checklists and tags. I love to use Trello in my business. Amber DeLa Garza of the podcast Productivity Straight Talk, is planning an online course to make use of Trello. Click here for more details:

Tech Tip
My tech tip today is another tool. It’s not only an app but also a website:
unroll.me is a free service that lets you unsubscribe from email newsletters easily and quickly. It also takes all the subscription emails that you what to keep and rolls them into one daily email. This is a great help in taming your email.
After you unroll from the other newsletters you no longer read, subscribe to mine and stay in touch!
