This week Dr. J and Dr. Bunny discuss tattoo removal and some of the many procedures Dr. J offers.
Tattoos go through the normal process that your skin goes through and will not look the same after the passage of time. If your tattoo is elaborate, it probably will take multiple visits to remove.
Dr. J removes tattoos with a spectra laser that has a very strong beam of light. It penetrates the skin and breaks up the pigment. There is some discomfort so you will be given medicine to decrease the sensation.
Dr. J also does radiofrequency surgery for facial veins. The treatment is very effective. This is a relatively quick procedure and works well for many people.
Dr. J is always learning. His latest class was in pain management and helping people avoid opioids. Dr. Bunny and Dr. J agree that holistic is always better. As for drugs, Dr. J says that any drug that saves your life is a good drug. Any drug used correctly is a good drug. But he cautions – all drugs’ honest description is poison.
