Members Reviews: Another tip-top episode! The worst thing about this is that it is a short story! Otherwise it is cute and delightful, and something to keep Chet fans going until the next full book comes out (and we do hope there will be more). Bernie gets suckered into letting an old con play Santa for a Christmas party at his house. You can imagine what happens, but you will probably be wrong! Despite its shortness, there are still plenty of very Chet-ish details here. Both Chet and Bernie are fully-fleshed and the story sets off right away. There are a few laughs, Chet grabs the perp's pant leg, and everyone ends up happy, even the perps! There is even a surprise character and a little hope for future eyebrow waggles! And you are reminded that you should always be carrying some Slim Jims in your pocket or purse for some member of The Nation. Jim Frangione does his usual fantastic job, and brings it all to tip-top life. Not worth a credit, but definitely worth the $6 to complete your Chet collection. Chet and Bernie plus perps This is a cute, seasonal, short story about our friends and their adventures. As always, a fun listen. Jim Frangione continues to be the ideal narrator for this series.
