In this episode of Enrollment Crisis Averted we will look at another side of enrollment at Marquette. We will look at the Office of International Education(OIE). We will find out some of the problems they have and how they deal with it. The Associate Director of the OIE, Ellen Blauw, is interviewed and discusses some of the issues they face and how they deal with them. We will find out what exactly the OIE does in regard to international students. Alice Wei was just hired as a regional counselor in China, Blauw will share her thoughts on the new hire. We will also learn what Marquette uses to pitch to international students. Finally, Blauw will discuss how she gets in contact with 72 countries at once.
