I'll start out with an introduction, my name is Tedd Vinson and I have been learning and working in digital marketing for ten years. I built my first Google Ad campaign in 2008. I decided on the name My Marketing Chops because a few years ago I had an interview with a tech startup and they asked me what my chops were. I was like, what do you mean chops, and they said. You know, your marketing chops. What are your marketing chops? I later realized this was slang, particularly in tech or the silicon valley culture was to say chops in reference to technical skills or expertise in a subject.
