The band’s sound can be described as melancholic dream pop, - sweet and contemplative with an electronic edge. Sailawway made a splash at the end of last year with their debut EP Fragments, gaining the attention of the Mexican indie scene and booking a slot at NRMAL’s 2018 edition. Fernanda is a computer engineer and has worked at a graphic design studio but music remains her passion. She picked up guitar as a teenager and spent a season in London at a songwriting program where she was able to meet, collaborate and learn from her peers. Today Sailawway is one of the brightest new names in Mexican indie, and ahead of their performance at CDMX's Departamento this Thursday, October 4th, we are also premiering their latest single!
