After a brief weather related hiatus, we're back with a vengeance (and not just aimed towards a certain Edmonton sports franchise)! We kick off this week with a look at how the BC Lions did in CFL free agency. They made a big splash, but it is enough to push the team to championship contention? More importantly, is it enough to make people care about the team and show up to games? We also talk a little baseball, as spring training has kicked off, with one of the marquee free agents finally signing. What does it mean for other free agents, and the state of labour in baseball in general?

The NHL trade deadline is approaching, and we look at what the Canucks may or may not do. Should they be looking to buy or sell? Can the team ever stay healthy for more than one game? How will the experience of meaningful games down the stretch shape the team going forward? What about the rest of the league? Will Ottawa clean house? Which teams will overpay in desperate attempts to bulk up? All this plus our usual best and worst in Garbage Time!
