249: Doug Baldwin retirement denial, Seahawks sign Ziggy Ansah

The Seahawks made a transaction this week that hit a lot of Seahawks fans hard. Doug Baldwin, along with Kam Chancellor, were released from the team with a failed physical designation. The guys talk about what Baldwin meant for the Seahawks in his career and how he'll be missed for a little while, but Adam seems to think he's not gone for good. It could be that both Brandan and Adam are in Baldwin retirement denial.

There was some good news, however, as Seahawks free agency appeared to start this week with Ziggy Ansah being signed to the team along with another veteran defensive lineman Al Woods. Ansah is a former Pro Bowl player who has fought through some injuries the past few seasons and let go by the Lions after suffering an injury during the season he played under the franchise tag.

Seattle may have even found their new third string quarterback with Geno Smith coming in for a visit this week amidst reports that he is expected to sign with the team.

Adam is on travel, so we get to hear about his latest airline misadventures in the Do Better segment along with a Miami Dolphins running back who is leading the NFL in an offseason stat that is going to be tough to break.
