Josh Parish and Chris Terpos reflect on the weekend’s loss to Sydenham, the first defeat of the State League One season thus far. They also mourn the loss of club captain Sammy Hibbert to a broken leg, which will see him miss the rest of the season. Happily, Nathan Cook has returned the club to bolster the defensive stocks. They are joined in studio by new signing Jip Bartels, who returns to Preston after an injury-hit first season with the club, and a half-season stint at Pascoe Vale. Jip recounts his junior days at Ajax Amsterdam, the injuries that stymied his professional career, and his “unfinished business” at Preston. Plus, club legend and former player/coach Peter Ollerton dials in to tell the story of his incredible career, which took him to the heights of the NSL and the 1974 World Cup in West Germany!
