This week we’re talking about the foster care system, the good, the bad and the ugly. Guest Gwen Hicks is an educator, advocate and champion of kids in the foster care system. As the Chief Dreamer of Amarillo Angels, a non-profit designed to support children in foster care and their foster families, she has served those on the front lines within the foster care system. Gwen and Colleen discuss the challenges the foster care system is facing, what is most needed and why people should care about this system.
