Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

Three-time Juno award winning singer-songwriter David Francey released "The Broken Heart Of Everything", another beautiful and timeless collection in 2018. Unfortunately, around the time he was due to head out on some extensive touring, he found that had to take time off from performing to rest his voice. Although the enforced break seriously impacted his musical plans, it did allow him to focus more on his other creative pursuit - visual art, leading to the development of an art tour of Canada that visited many of the places he had planned to tour with his music. David Francey will be back on the road with his music this fall. He joined us on Folk Roots Radio to chat about this music, and getting back on the road again.
