Dr. Mariella G. Filbin is an Attending Physician of Pediatric Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. The Filbin Lab focuses its efforts on studying pediatric brain tumors, particularly lethal high-grade gliomas, including diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and malignant embryonal brain tumors. Dr. Filbin's approach to understanding these tumors involves genomic technologies such as single cell RNA sequencing, which we discuss in this episode.
