Welcome to the newest edition of WIIM Radio! We’re early in the 2019-20 season and the Wings are off to... a start! This episode I’m joined by Peter and Sara to go through early impressions. Here’s what we got into.

The Wings so Far: The team has looked almost too much like we expected, with high energy and excitement from the kids and also plenty of mistakes to remind us that they’re still kids. Mostly we’re here for the love-fest for the top line. We break down what it is that we love about it. We also have to talk about what’s going on with the depth and the defense.

The Mike Green Problem: An elder skatesman on the Red Wings blueline has not looked good to start the season. The truth is he looks a lot like he did last season too. What’s going on with this guy?

He Aint Svechnikon: We try to figure out the mystery of why Svechnikov would be around the team for so long without getting into games.

Around the League: Gus Nyquist throwing shaaaaade and our peek around the standings at which non-Wings teams we hate more than all the other non-Wings teams.
