This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam welcomes Meditation Teacher, Monk, Mentor, Speaker, Multi-bestselling Author, Sandy C. Newbigging.

Sandy is the creator of the Mind Detox and Mind Calm methods, a meditation teacher and author of several books. Sandy is a mind detox expert and creator of Calmology. With a unique ability quickly get to the real root cause of people’s issues and share complex mind, body and soul concepts in ways that make sense.

Sandy has personally overcome an eating disorder, bullying, insomnia, heartbreak and struggling to be a success with dyslexia. During his path back to peace he’s detoxed his mind, meditated for thousands of hours and even become a monk.

Sandy is a living example that peace is possible for anyone who is willing to ‘master their mind’ and he’s on a mission to prove that inner stillness and engaging ‘present moment awareness’ is the secret to life success.

Segment 1:

Sam starts out the show with his quotes of the week and focuses on talking about “insistence.” The next quote that Sam reads has to do with our vibrational calling and the idea of “that which is like, onto itself is drawn” aka the law of attraction. Sam talks about the energy that we carry throughout the day, that eventually rules our lives. He continues about the fact that if we put too much pressure on the law of attraction, then it will become further away and it’ll never come. Sam introduces his first guest, Sandy Newbigging.

Segment 2:

Sam comes back into the show to talk to Sandy Newbigging about how he got his start at Mind Detox and how he went from his own meditation to figuring out a methodology for other people. He began to work with therapists on mental and emotional problems, and how the mind and body are connected. Sam talks about how our mental, emotional, and physical health are all connected within us. Sandy continues with his own five step program that he gives to people who are just starting out on their journey. He talks about asking people the right questions in order to get the right answers. Sandy mentions his bout with bullying.

Segment 3:

Sandy Newbigging comes back and explain how his Mind Detox helped him overcome the effects that bullying had on him. He explains how getting to the root cause of the issue and your beliefs can change your mind. By using your energy and emotion you can make changes. Sandy continues by discussing Calmology. Sandy gives the listeners techniques on how to stay calm in stressful situations.

Segment 4:

Sandy Newbigging comes back and discuss Resist, Persist and Safe Place. He talks of how you can get to a place of peace if you stop resisting. The only place you can access your past or future is in your imagination. He explains how we should focus on the present, not the past nor the future. Sam shares a story of how a colleague of his got into a car wreck, and how she had to focus on the present moment and not the upcoming meeting she was going to be late for. The mind goes on tangents, but if we focus on what’s happening now, we will have peace. Be where the body is; be in the safe place of where the body is.
