Kathryn Ivey established her eponymous firm in Washington, DC in 2009 before moving to Paris in 2015 and has garnered recognition from several local, national and international publications, along with being named one of House Beautiful magazine’s “Next Wave Designers”. Combining her love for European art, design and the hunt for one-of-a-kind pieces, Paris provides a rich, complex environment that allows Kathryn to continue to hone her design eye, which influences her projects both stateside and internationally. She works to create interiors that are honest, authentic and that connect the interior space to the client. Kathryn founded The Paris Edit as a way to provide an interior design service for the visitor who may feel overwhelmed with where to start their search, yet is hoping to find something special for their home that reminds them of their travels to Paris. Kathryn Ivey feels that beauty sparks curiosity and craftsmanship speaks to the desire for quality rooted in heritage.
