I go back through time and have a look at the manifestos of elections gone by to explore what might have been, or what should have been. I also take a look at the news of the day from the perspective of "what was promised". I'll do this with a particular focus on The United Kingdom, England, and Leicestershire in particular, where local issues crop up.
