A similar incident is found in John 21:1-14, where the emphasis is identifying the resurrected Jesus. It included a fish fry breakfast in verses 12-14. This was Jesus 3rd appearance to His disciples post-resurrection.
Luke 5:1-11 also details a similar incident with it’s emphasis on their frustration at their unsuccessful night of fishing (Because of the Middle East’s heat during the day, the fish swam closer to the surface during the cool nights.)
The focus of the story seems to be on their willingness to keep trying, even in the daytime, after a whole night-time of failure, “...at His word.”
