In the Python world and in the scientific Python world especially, Peter needs no introduction. We had so much fun, our conversation ran long, long enough for 26.1 AI Podcast's first serial two part interview with a guest. During our conversation, Peter gets philosophical. As a technologist and a practitioner he discusses the hype v. reality. Our guest posits there is an, "honest path," how Peter believes technology can be leveraged for human good. A big takeaway from this episode is that there's no configuration toggle for ethical AI. Ethics starts with the human in the loop creating the AI.
