「臼田道成のボサノヴァよもやま話」初回は、リオはコパカバーナ海岸近くにある小さなバー、BipBipビッピ・ビッピにまつわるお話。BipBipはシコ・ブアルキの妹クリスチーナ・ブアルキなどが中心となって始められた日曜夜のroda de samba ホーダ・ジ・サンバ(サンバの輪)で有名な店ですが、水曜日の夜はroda de bossaホーダ・ジ・ボッサ(ボサノヴァの輪)が行われます。臼田は2004年から2008年までの4年間、そこにほぼ毎週通っておおいに腕を磨き、多くのことを学びました。そのBipBip、いったいどんな店なのでしょうか?
