Podcast Festivals is a series of online conferences started during COVID by Sam Sethi, Andrew Grill and Minter Dial. Our inaugural festival was held on 28th May, called ‘The Future of Podcasting’ and our second Podcast Festival called “Voices of the World” was held on 15th July. Over 600+ people have so far attended both our festivals. Some of the amazing podcasters spoke at our festivals including Kara Swisher the New York Times journalist and award-winning podcaster on Pivot, Jason Phipps the commissioning editor for BBC Sounds podcasts, James Cridland the radio & podcast futurologist, Dan Snow the mastermind behind History Hit podcast, Amit Varma the journalist and podcaster who was named as one of India's 50 most powerful people and George the Poet the spoken-word artist, poet, podcaster and winner of five Brit podcasts as well as a Peabody award. As we sit down to plan our next festival "The Business of Podcasting" and other related events, we have also launched this podcast. Sam, Andrew and Minter will discuss the latest comings and goings of the podcast world along with special guest speakers.
