Twelve-year-old Jahtaya is the owner and operator of Taya Ties, a tie-die apparel company that makes custom shirts, hats, and more. On top of her growing business, Jahtaya juggles school life, friends, and family all while funding a local food pantry with her company's proceeds. Started during quarantine to pass the time, Jahtaya's tie-dying business officially launched in September of 2020, offering unique and fun fashion to customers who want to see their money used to support the community they are buying from.
