You can hide your mistakes. You cannot fool yourself and rob yourself of inner joy. It’s okay to talk, share, learn from your past. But, move forward choosing to learn from your past mistakes.
One can look healthy yet be dealing with resentment as health is not just outer appearance. We hear people being sick as they hid their resentment. This is how resentment can affect your inner health. The major cause of resentment is not forgiving yourself. Are you dealing with any resentment?
In journaling human emotions are logged. We live in a culture where being emotionally is not welcome. However, not being able to express healthy emotions we are robbing ourselves to connect with others. There is strength in having healthy emotions.
Your experiences are patterned by our behavior. Discipline yourself to be authentic and be real with yourself. Good health is not hiding how you feel and feeling what you feel. Simply be in a place of acceptance.
What discontent external signs of what is going on inside your thoughts is robbing you of your peace? In creating a routine to deal with discontent we need to identify it and use words of affirmation to come to a place of content!!
We first have to identify what we are holding on to? Is it a person, an experience, or event. If your body is feeling tense it can mean your are dealing with regrets or regretting others, or experience that we are not able to change from the past. This is when we just need to let go!! Acknowledge the state of the heart and speak words of faith over fear. What is that you fear? Practice listening to others who share their insecurities. Listen without judgement is being confident!!
The mentally strong individuals are passionate beings that express their love to others. Your goal to love others should grow to want to serve others. Exercise human kindness and act with a heart filled with joy.
Your temptation is your distraction. How do you discipline yourself from your own distractions? Do you surrender to your distractions? It’s surrendering to prayer that you will gain awareness. It’s being honest. The key is to do your own inventory and give your weakness to God by confessing it.
