The ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its extraordinary impact on humans and businesses forces us to rethink existing supply chain practices. The traditional approaches will work until they are not disrupted. Conventional supply chain approaches may need to be re-examined for ensuring the security of goods and services for sustainability and customer satisfaction. The Oil and Gas companies around the world are destined to face the massive impact of climate change and regulatory changes that follows. There is already a shift in the global demand pattern due to the push for emission reduction and higher adoption of renewable energy sources.
