Egypt’s origins, its religion, and its monumental architecture are all shrouded in mystery: colossal temples, pyramids, and the enormous Sphinx. Of all the ancient monuments, the Egyptian pyramids are the most famous, the only one that remains. Since we first cleaned the sands away from the Great Sphinx, we have been fascinated and filled with imagination. Archaeologists and historians have been obsessed with it for two centuries. We have spent years slowly unraveling its mysteries.Despite all these years, we still don’t know a lot. Egypt still holds some of the biggest discoveries of the ancient world, waiting to be discovered. In most cases, such revelations lead to more mysteries and unanswered questions.
