A Canadian perspective on fish keeping.
Fish Keeping as a hobby goes back, way back.
Even as far back as 4500yrs ago in the Mesopotamian region!
Today, there are many ways to enjoy the hobby.
Wether it's freshwater, saltwater or somewhere in-between with brackish, the possibilities are endless!
The purpose of this podcast is to help the entry level aquarist(s) comfortably start their adventure into the Freshwater Aquarium.
I've always leaned on the low-budget setup without sacrificing quality, having a freshwater aquarium without all the fancy expensive equipment, especially in today's economy!
I am by no means bashing that approach, just showing it's not necessarily needed. My family has enjoyed the hobby for years without it.
The one word that comes to mind first when I'm thinking of this hobby is patience.
You can't rush nature!
