We are back on local bands! First up is Decoy, a Louisiana metalcore band. These guys bring out a hard hitting and aggressive metalcore sound. They recently signed with Upstate Records and released a single called Becoming. Second is Stress Test, a thrash band from Portland Oregon. They dropped their self titled album at the end of February. Incorporating awesome sound clips, this band is fast, aggressive and very to the point with one of their songs coming in at 29 seconds long. Their guitarist/vocalist comes from a heavy metal band called Unto Others. Both bands are very solid and really deserve a listen. Decoy Instagram Stress Test Instagram…

TGI! Brought back to life! After their bus crash in 2015, there were questions whether The Ghost Inside would be able to really keep touring. They had a goal of releasing at least one more album and playing one more show, which they did at The Shrine in LA in 2019. Since that time they have been able to continue touring and dropped their last album "Searching for Solace" in 2024. This is a band that we loved when they first came out with "Fury and the Fallen Ones" and have very fond memories of seeing them early on. We discuss the topic of music that we feel we have "outgrown" or sounds that just don't have that same nostalgia as other bands or albums.…
On this episode we talked with Daniel from the Texas Hardcore band, Die Young. On this episode we talk about the Alabama Metalcore band, MyChildren MyBride. This band was a HUGE gateway band for us when the album Unbreakable came out. On this episode we talk about the genres of music we listen to and try to name bands that we think are overrated, underrated, and appropriately rated. It was a lot harder than we thought it was going to be but we had a great time sharing our terrible hot takes. We expect some hate from this episode so let us know what you think!…

On this episode we talk with Gabe Ochoa, the lead vocalist for the Inland Empire hardcore band, Darasuum. If you've been listening recently you'll know that I have been blasting their last EP, Thriving on the Divide, over the last couple of months. We get to hear amazing stories about his upbringing in music, all the bands he's been a part of and everything he has done for the scene in California. Part of his history also involved being friends with Suicide Silence from when Mitch joined the band, so we talk about early memories of them. They have a new album written that will hopefully be coming out early next year and they just announced that they will be playing in Las Vegas in February with a crazy line up that includes Never Ending Game and All Out War.
