Disney has hired Nisha Ganatra to direct the sequel to Freaky Friday.
Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are in negotiations to reprise their roles as mother and daughter.
On Friday, Curtis posted a photo of herself with Lohan on Instagram.
It is not yet clear whether the film will be released in cinemas or on Disney+.
