The Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus proclaimed in the Gospel of Matthew is not a destination but rather an experience. It is something we can experience in full in this life and it extends to eternity.
In order to experience it we must not allow ourselves to become jaded. Rather we must live life with a sense of curiosity and wonder, with awe and appreciation.
We mustn’t stubbornly lock into our own ways of thinking and doing. Instead we must be open to learning and growing, adapting and changing.
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3
