Sing, Sing, Sing!
“…sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to one another, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts.” - Ephesians 5:19
We sing not because God is an egomaniac who requires constant praise. We sing not because we are hoping to win God’s favor.
We sing because life can be difficult and and uncertain. We sing to remind each other of the hope that sometimes gets lost.
We sing to celebrate the victories we’ve won. We sing to celebrate where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going.
We sing to encourage each other that all is not lost. We sing to lift each other when we are down.
We sing because we are part of something larger than ourselves and because we see a vision that will one day be fulfilled.
Sing in the good times and the bad times and the in between times. Keep God’s melody in your hearts and sing, sing, sing!
