Paige C. Clark and Mark David Pullen discuss Mark's life as a full-time building maintenance worker, father, husband, and aspiring author.

Mark describes his job as being different every day, which he enjoys. He and his wife carpool to and from work, and they try to spend as much time as possible with their children in the evenings. They are new members of a church, and they are looking forward to getting more involved in the community. Mark shares that he finds quiet moments throughout his day to connect with God. He believes that God speaks to him in these moments, and he finds inspiration and guidance from God. Paige C. Clark asks Mark about his writing goals. Mark shares that he is working on a book about his faith journey. He is excited to share his story with others, and he hopes to inspire others to find their own faith. Mark David Pullen and Paige C. Clark end the podcast by discussing the importance of finding time for God in the midst of a busy life. They both agree that it is important to make time for quiet moments to connect with God.

About Mark Pullen

Mark David Pullen is a Christian author, tradesman, husband, and father. His debut novel "The Oasis King", the first book in "The Oasis Chronicles", was released this year. Being a child from a broken home, Mark's imagination carried him away to far off places where he was able to escape many of his adversities. At the age of 18, Mark entered the work force and through his job as a forklift operator, he had a lot of quiet time. The universe of "The Oasis" began to take form in his mind. Fast forward ten years and Mark strongly felt the Lord calling him to write novels for middle grade readers. His goal as an author is to provide his readers with stories of action, adventure, and unexpected twists while sharing the hope and love of Christ. Mark lives in Upstate New York with his wife, two children, and crazy pup Toby. Currently, he works in the facilities' department at a local school district while pursuing his call to write.
