EPISODE 4 – Bond, board games. Star Wars, Kubrick, Monolith art, cosplay, listen to the director, and where on Earth do you keep your TARDIS? (with special guest Chris Stone)

Hi and welcome to episode 4 of the podcast that hopes to combine coffee, conversation and comedy with interesting topics, A Couple of Drips.

In this episode, award winning film-maker and local lad, Chris Stone, talks about the transition from film as a hobby, to a full fledged career. He talks about script writing, working with actors to make show-reels, and trust on set. We talk about the films and directors that have influenced him and what he does to ‘relax’ when he’s not behind the camera. We discuss his working process, and who has the real talent. There’s the usual features such as ‘Claim to Fame’ and we discuss Kubrick, Monoliths in the desert and ‘what’s that standing next to your Dalek?’

We’d love to hear your comments about things you’d like us to discuss in future episodes, guests you’d like to see and, of course, coffees you’d like us to try.

Here are the links to most of the things we mentioned in the episode:

Coffee Links:

Square Mile Coffee (today’s coffee was Rwanda – TUMBA, a Red Bourbon with hints of Blackcurrent, Jam and Lime, although this is seasonal and may not always be available).
