Have you told someone you love them today?

Last week, we talked with my parents about many aspects of life and the lessons they’ve learned over the years. We also told you that my dad had a significant health scare and nearly died. Today, we are back to discuss this unexpected crisis that our family found ourselves in.

To give you a little background, my dad had been having chest pains for some time and hadn’t told anyone. One day, he finally came to accept that something wasn’t right, and he needed to get to the bottom of what was causing this pain.

This first step in going to the doctor was just the beginning of a long road to recovery, but ultimately, it saved his life. We are so thankful he is here with us today, but things really could have turned out differently.

We hope that in sharing this story with you, it will encourage you to call that friend you haven’t checked up on in a while, to mend that relationship with a family member that has been broken, and to cherish the people God has placed in your life.

God can use any situation for good, and He has a good plan for your life.

Episode Highlights:

  • The symptoms that led Ken to the doctor.
  • The results of the stress test.
  • In the hospital during covid.
  • Ken’s surgery.
