You may know how he died, but do you know how he lived? You’ve heard of his vices, but have you heard of his virtues? You know of his demons, but do you know of his angels and saints?

Chris Farley wasn’t merely a man filled with fear, doubt, and despair. No! He was a man of great faith, Catholic faith!

Meet Fr. Matt Foley. That’s right, Matt Foley isn’t merely a man “living in a van down by the river.” In fact, he’s a Catholic priest who happened to be one of Chris Farley’s closest and dearest friends.

While Fr. Foley had to end up celebrating Farley’s funeral, he first and foremost celebrated life with Chris for well over 15 years of friendship, starting with playing rugby with him in college to seeing him through S.N.L and Hollywood superstardom.

So join His HoliMess and “The Real Matt Foley” as they shed significant light on Chris Farley’s Catholic faith and devotion. We can almost guarantee that most of you have never heard about this side of Chris Farley’s life, not in this detail. After all, the world celebrates sinfulness and ignores saintliness. Take an hour of your time to celebrate Farley’s saintliness. After all, Norm MacDonald told Howard Stern that Chris Farley was an angel. This episode hopes to supplement that and explain why.
