DEI "isn't just the responsibility of one department, you have to work collaboratively across all the divisions, departments and leaders to make the impact you need to make,"

-Advita Petal.

In this episode Advita and Priya discuss the responsibility of internal communications in the #DiversityEquityAndInclusion space and the role IC has in cultivating inclusive cultures in the workplace.

Priya and Advita arise the question of why should internal communications care about DEI and have an active role to play in this space.

According to Priya and Advita achieving DEI and creating an inclusive culture should be part of driving employees forward and delivering the promises organizations make on both the employee and customer level. It's not just HR or internal communications job to drive inclusive culture we all have a role to help in reaching an inclusive culture and start growing our teams.
