Ep. 170: The One Word No One Wants To Hear Is PATIENCE
Manage episode 266582681 series 2612295
The One Word No One Want To Hear Is PATIENCE
We all know how much we can despise this word, but the value of patience cannot ever be overlooked.
And if you happen to add persistence to patience, you have a winning combination.
When I first started, I got obsessed with doing work, like auditioning for audiobooks and pumping out royalty share work. This afforded me a lot of practice that really paid off later.
But I was not working anywhere else and making $50 or $100 a month. But patience and persistence played its role well and now I look back to those moments and think it was one of the purest moments in my life because I was building something, not for the money, but to prove it to myself and no one else.
