With less racing greyhounds available for adoption in the United States of America, many folks who still want to adopt a dog are looking for similar breeds. Borzois, which are in the sighthound family, may be an excellent breed for many who have come to love greyhounds. In this episode, we discuss Borzois with Lesley Rydman–Ohmann of National Borzoi Rescue Foundation (NBRF). Lesley shares her insights into the breed – their history, what it’s like to share a home with them, and their care.
