Since January 2015, Sheila has been living out of a single suitcase and camera bag as she travels around the globe with her husband. They call themselves The Opportunistic Travelers, and they’re sharing their experiences through their photography, inspiring videos, and weekly storytelling audio podcast.

Her love for travel sparked in 1989 on their ultra-cheap honeymoon to Cancun. She decided the best way for a broke 20-year old to travel the world was to become a travel agent. The “commission crunch” of the '90s pushed her into education, and she spent the next decade helping fellow teachers in K-12 and university effectively bring technology into our classrooms. In the private sector, she's had the fortune to provide instructional design services to universities, corporations, and New York Times best-selling authors.
