Special Guest, Dancer, Singer and Best Selling Author, Shenette Jones - Before writing, or dancing there was always a song. Born into a family of strong-belting vocalist, Shenette was sure to follow with a desire to sing. She watched her mother perform countless music events from churches to Ballrooms. By the age of 13, Shenette followed in those steps winning talent shows, writing songs, and perfecting her skill. Teen years well spent in Memphis, Tennessee enhanced Shenette's musical creativity. While studying classical in school and writing hip hop raps after school, Shenette was also surrounded by the soulful sounds of the blues. This allowed for many opportunities for Shenette to perform with live bands on the ever popular Beale Street. She was shaping into a well rounded vocal artist beyond her own belief. Doors quickly opened for musical theater productions giving Shenette the chance to "shine" as she was nick-named by her father.
