On this episode, I spoke with Dr. Tia Kansara, a sustainability expert, multi award-winning entrepreneur and economist who’s consulted some of the worlds largest brands like Coca Cola, Formula One, and MIT. We discussed the importance of thinking beyond sustainability to replenishment. How startups can integrate long-term principals into their core. How big brands should think about lining up with young generations. Why you are not a tourist on this planet. And how consumer behavior and spending will ultimately drive more conscious business decisions.

Dr. Tia Kansara is a multi award-winning entrepreneur and economist. The youngest to ever receive the Royal Institute British Architects honorary fellowship, she is the co-founder of the first ISO-certified sustainable lifestyle consultancy, and CEO of Replenish Earth, a cause and a collective action to protect the global commons. Tia is considered one of the Top 100 most influential leaders in Tech by the Financial Times and Inclusive Boards. She’s worked with Coca Cola, Bloomberg, the European Commission, Forbes, Formula One, MIT, and Siemens. She has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals covering a number of topics from sustainable cities to human performance. Among many of her academic credentials, she has earned a PhD in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability from University College London.
