I’m your host, Tirth Patel, an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, where I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am a person who stutters. There are more than 70 million people across the world who stutter. In the United States, more than 3 million people stutter. This data Is taken from do something.org. For a person who stutters, it takes a lot of courage to speak up, and the accompanying depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues are just intense.
