Ian Blei, the founder and CEO of Moonshine Media Group and Executive Producer at Moonshine Pictures (not to mention a childhood friend and the co-best man at my wedding), joins Access Your Leadership to share the ups and downs of his journey that’s taken him to where he is today. Ian talks about his time at Florida State University studying under an Oscar-winning special effects icon. He talks in detail about the various employment experiences he’s had and what kinds of leaders he encountered along the way. Ian shares stories about what inspired him to become the leader he now is for his company and even some of the things he does for his people to prove he “walks the walk.” What were some of the unique attributes of really strong leaders you’ve worked with and for? What kept you focused on your goals despite some of the setbacks? How did you choose to see challenges and obstacles in a way that was positive and how did that perspective impact the ultimate outcome? What do you do for those you work with and value to demonstrate that you do feel that way about them as human beings? How does compassion play into the way you lead and is love really a necessary ingredient of leadership?
