A recent WikkiTimes report reveals that in Kano, Jigawa, and Bauchi states, the costs of animals meant for sacrificial slaughter have doubled in some cases compared to the same period in 2023.
This may be be due to rising inflation, changes in fuel prices, and the depreciating value of the naira following its float by the Central Bank.
