Shawn Carter wrote about it on track number 10, the last track of the 4:44 album. Although less popular, Eminem had a song by the same name in 2014. All of our lives, we’ve heard talks of how people are remembered after death. Their legacy. How much does your mean to you?
In reality, we really have no control over how others think of us while living or after we crossover to the other side. We can do our best to live our best lives but how others see us is at their own discretion. But do we really care?
Some great humans, in their own right, have passed away and despite what great things they’ve done, their legacy is stained by negative headlines, whether true or not. From Michael Jackson to the Black Mamba to the recently departed OJ Simpson. All lead lives marked in history and although found innocent of criminal accusations, their legacies are forever stained.
Is it fair that we are judged by the darkest moments of our lives? Some may think we are remembered as we deserve to no while others choose to never. Hopse to speak ill of the deceased. We have our own opinions and of course we share them here.
