Today we have former MLB player, artist, and founder of Aku, Micah Johnson. In less than one year, Aku became “2020 NFT of the Year” and the first NFT optioned for a major feature film. Named one of the “Top 50 Most Influential People in NFTs” by Fortune, His foresight and belief in the web3 communities to evangelize IP has resulted in over $24MM in sales volume for Aku to date with well known supporters like Pusha T and Trevor Noah. Despite a very public setback during the minting of Akutars, he is here today to discuss what the future holds for Aku, mental health, and diversifying the space.
