Susan Windle Beam has professionally served the avionics industry for more than three decades. As the manager of Accessory Services Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska, her shop recently received Federal Aviation Administration approvals to add Class 1, 2, and 3 radio capabilities – communications, navigation and radar, respectively – for limited airframe and limited emergency equipment. The company repairs, overhauls and tests accessories as well as installs and services avionics equipment for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
