In this captivating episode, we delve into the fascinating world of Ghanaian languages with our esteemed guest, Belinda Missaah Tuffour, an MPhil researcher from the University of Education, Winneba - Ajumako.

Belinda’s study seeks to comparatively examine the tone usage within specific syntactic structures in these two Akan dialects. Belinda is investigating how tones manifest in pronominals, nouns, and verbs across both dialects, as well as gathering acoustic evidence to compare pitch values. She also explores the underlying phonological and tonal rules governing these variations.
